Regular Season Round 5: Torun - Tukums 55-70

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 46th ranked PolishTorun (2-2) was defeated by 47th ranked Latvian Tukums (2-2) 70-55 on Friday. Tukums trailed by 14 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 15 points. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Martins Rasnacs stepped up and scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and Davis Bahs chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four Tukums players scored in double figures. Adam Sowinski responded with 16 points and Antoni Cichal scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tukums moved-up to twentieth place, which they share with 17 other teams including defeated Torun .
